Papal visit: Have immigrants saved the Catholic Church?

An influx of immigrants have brought their faith into the pews of Catholic churches in the UK since Pope John Paul II's visit in 1982. Just how important are these newcomers to the Church's survival, as Pope Benedict XVI prepares to begin his tour? Former CA Chaplain of the Sick and Hospitalité has been interviewed by the BBC to discuss this question.

Fr Michael is Parish Priest for St Peter The Apostle church in Woolwich, London. Please view the BBC interview here.

New look for CA news

The Catholic Association webteam have recently created this new CA news page, which can be accessed through our website: http://www.catholicassociation.co.uk/ by simply clicking News.

We are now using Google's Blogger to create our news page, so it's more user-friendly and easier for people to add news items to it.

We hope you enjoy the new look, please let us know what you think on m.betts@catholicassociation.co.uk
